Sam is a wonderful beam of light, he's so insightful and in tune with himself and the world around him. He's a genuinely great guy with only the best intentions for our planet, which is incredibly refreshing. We asked Sam a few questions to get to know him a bit better, so, here is it!
Name: Sam O’Sullivan
Clearhead title: Clinical Psychologist and Product Owner
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I think it would depend on how much I won. I would love to buy a larger house as currently I live in a tiny house and it’s quite small. I miss being able to host groups of people in my home! I would also like to give some money to my family to support their lives.
I’m part of a budding educational farm for environmental and mental wellbeing. I would very much like to donate funds to our charity, so we could build an inspiring classroom space, a truly beautiful clinic, and maybe even get a tractor!
If you could have dinner with three people, alive or dead, who would they be?
Nicola Tesla, Carl Jung, and a translator.
If you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?:
Whanganui. I couldn't think of a better place to be than around my favorite people doing a project to demonstrate environmental regeneration and a radical new approach to health care. I would like to holiday to other places, but I feel like I’ve already made great lifestyle choices.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
I’m not really sure if any one piece stands out. I like:
-Focus on what you can change and let go of what you can’t.
-Pick your battles wisely.
-Act local, think global.
-Dream big kid. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
A train, specifically a steam engine. I was thinking “train driver” at the time, but my family like to remind me that I said I wanted to be a train. I was like 5 years old at the time...
If you were a crayon, which colour would you be?:
A spiral of blue and green.
