Nursing, PG Cert in Interpersonal Psychotherapy I am a nurse therapist and have worked within specialist mental health services for 17 years, both in New Zealand and the U.K. I have worked with a wide range of age groups including adults and also have extensive experience within the child and adolescent population. I love learning and updating my knowledge and skill base. I have trained in a number of treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Role Theory and EMDR for trauma. I am also currently engaged in psychodrama psychotherapy training. I have worked with individuals who have chosen to start therapy for a number of reasons such as experiencing trauma, interpersonal challenges, life transitions, depression, anxiety, stress, and ADHD. I am passionate about working alongside people, supporting them to achieve wellness based on their individual needs and circumstances. I have 2 children and enjoys exploring the outdoors, travelling, hiking and yoga.
