Born in the UK to Irish parents, Denis graduated from the University of London with a BA Honours in English Literature followed by post graduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, St Bart's & The Royal London and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Otago University, NZ. He has his own private practice in Wellington City, Overthinking Therapy and draws on Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment & Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (ACT & CBT) and other holistic psychological therapy modalities. Denis provided counselling treatment in GP practices for 6 years. He has worked previously and extensively in clinical settings in Wellington and London.
