Biography
I have a warm, gentle and non-judgemental nature that helps to put people at ease and creates trust and safety. I tailor my approach to suit each individual based on their preferences. I've worked with children and adults on a wide range of issues, and at the heart of my practice is supporting people to build resilience and healthy coping skills through self-kindness. In hard times it's really easy to lose sight of the strengths you have, the challenges you've overcome, your values and passions and the things that give you purpose and meaning. I think of it as being like lost in a valley in a dank forest, with no sense of which way to go. Having a good counselling relationship can help you climb up and get a good view of it all, so you can see your struggles and your strengths laid out before you and gain a clearer idea of where you want to go, and how you're going to get there.
