Biography

I know how amazing it feels when someone really understands what I am going through without judgement while also providing hope and insights for change. I believe that we get hurt in relationships and we heal in relationships. My approach is focused on the therapeutic engagement based on safety, authenticity and genuine care. We all want to live our best life, but sometimes hurts and hurdles get in the way. People seek counselling to improve the quality of one or more aspects of their life and as a counsellor I believe in empowering individuals to live their best lives and help you navigate or remove the obstacles that are in the way. My goal is to understand things from your perspective and support the positive changes you want to make while also provide you with options to choose from, insights, knowledge and skills that you can use to make the changes you need. Sometimes we just need a sounding board to find their way, while other times we need a more empathic or strategic approach reaching our best life. I am here to listen and understand first, then work in partnership to explore a pathway forward that is in your best interests. Together we will uncover and explore what is not working for you and explore skills and insights that you can use to meet your needs and make the changes you want. While on a deeper level providing guidance to enable yourself to connect inwardly and find more meaning in life.
