I am a Clinical Arts Therapist and Addictions Counsellor based in Auckland. My area of expertise lies in the trauma, depression, anxiety and addictions fields. I enjoy working one to one using creative tools for expression and processing in therapy. I use a multimodal approach to expressive therapies that combines elements from all the different approaches. Expressive Therapies constitute the use of art, poetry, drama, movement and music (to name a few) in relation to psychology, psychotherapy, rehabilitation, health and well-being to facilitate reflection, internal conflict resolution and insight. Creation and meaning making are an integral part of the process that helps lead to emotional, mental and sometimes, even physical health.
