Kia Ora Koutou I am a Person-Centred Trained counsellor with a specialty focus in Perinatal Mental Health. This is the mental health of both the infant and parent/s including attachment difficulties. The majority of my work is with clients who are experiencing adaption to parenting issues and mental health distress during pregnancy (antenatal) or post birth, (postnatal), including birth trauma and those who have had terminations. While my work is mainly with the Mother, I encourage Father/Partner participation as Perinatal Distress can occur in all members of the family. Most of my clients are referred via their GP who are on the Midlands Health or Hauraki PHO Networks. From here you can access up to 4 free sessions. I am also ACC sensitive claims accredited.
